BENEFITS OF INSURED
WARRANTY

Our BMW Insured Warranty protects against the unexpected mechanical or electrical failure of major components of your car. These include the engine, gearbox and braking and electrical systems. If you take out our highest level of cover your car will also be covered for wear and tear of all covered components for the first 100,000 miles.

The costs of replacement parts and labour can be expensive so having an Insured Warranty will help give you peace of mind should you ever breakdown or experience a problem with your car.

01
Comprehensive

This is our highest level of protection, and the policy covers the majority of your BMW’s components. In addition, it covers wear and tear for covered components for the first 100,000 miles from registration. It also provides a cover limit equal to the purchase price paid for the vehicle 'including VAT'. Please note that Comprehensive Cover is not available for vehicles that have completed over 100,000 miles at the policy start date.

Which vehicles are covered?

Our Insured Warranty products offer protection for a range of BMW vehicles, including the latest range of hybrid cars, iPerformance Vehicles and fully electric cars. These vehicles require a specialist warranty that covers the additional mechanical and electrical components found in these cars, and that’s just what BMW Insured Warranty can provide. Components such as the invertor/convertor, the AC electric motor and the internal high-voltage cables are all covered under our policies.

Please be aware that terms, conditions and exclusions apply to each of our Insured Warranty products. You’ll find a full list of these in the Policy Handbook.

Roadside assistance

BMW Roadside Assistance and BMW Roadside Assistance Essential have been designed to provide support if your BMW breaks down or you need motoring assistance on the go.

Our full BMW Roadside Assistance product can be bought as part of your warranty or separately. It’s the highest level of roadside assistance cover we provide and benefits include home and roadside assistance, contribution towards storage costs and onward travel and hotel accommodation options should your vehicle take a long time to repair.

BMW Roadside Assistance Essential is a more basic level of cover. If you breakdown whilst at home or on the road we will aim to fix your car at the roadside or if this is not possible, take you to the nearest BMW Retailer or BMW Authorised Workshop. We will also contribute towards storage costs if needed.
